William Himes

William Himes Age 62 of Brockport, PA; passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 surrounded by his loving wife and family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 15, 1958  in DuBois, PA; he was the son of the late Donald and Vera Himes. On May 19, 1979 he married his loving wife of 42 years Cathy Gatto Himes. Retired, he was employed at Owens-Brockway Glass machine repair. He was a member of St. Tobias Church in Brockway and served as an usher. Bill was involved for many years with Brockway Little League. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, and trips to the Little League World Series with his grandsons. He is also survived by a son Matthew (Stephanie) Himes and 2 grandsons Carter and Owen Himes of Brockway. His grandsons were his pride and joy. He was also preceded in death by a brother Donald Himes Jr. There will be no public visitation. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding and Pastor Dave Nagele co-officiating. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Cleveland Clinic/Taussig Cancer Center Euclid Avenue Cleveland Ohio 44195 the Hahne Cancer Center 100 Hospital Avenue DuBois, PA 15801 or the the charity of the donors choice.
