Virginia "Ginger" Hetrick

Virginia L. “Ginger” Hetrick age 69 of 5th Avenue Brockway, PA; died on Thursday December 8, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on December 9, 1952 she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Hazel Wolff Potts Sr. On June 15, 1974 she was married to Clifford Hetrick and he survives. Ginger was a homemaker and nanny to many children over the years. She was a member of the S.O.I. Club in Brockway. Ginger enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, playing bingo and taking trips to the casino. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband she is also survived by 4 siblings: Barbara Lovell of DuBois; Edward (Sue) Potts Sr. of Lake City, PA; Doretta Potts of Kane, PA and Tammy (George C. Simbeck Sr.) Simbeck of St. Marys, PA. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Patty Potts of Richardsville, PA as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and several God children. She is also survived by her beloved Shih Tzu Sophie. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by 2 brothers: John B. (Dottie) Potts Sr; Bernard M. Potts Jr. and a niece Heidi L. Horton.  All services for Ginger will be private at the convenience of her family. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral Home to help defray expenses.
