Verle M. Olson

Verle M. Olson age 91 a former Cemetery Hill Brockway, PA; resident, currently a resident at Highland View Health Care, died on Thursday October 12, 2023. Born on October 9, 1932 in Brockway; she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ida Anderson Olson. Retired, Verle had been employed as a packer at Brockway Glass. She was a member of Lighthouse Community Church in Brockway. Verle enjoyed her cats, crafting and just being in the outdoors. She is survived by nephews Randy (Susan) Olson of DuBois, PA; Greg Olson of Reisterstown, MD; a great niece Brianna Olson and great nephews Ethan (Mickayla) Olson and Corrie (Victoria) Olson and one great great niece Nora.  In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation will be on Tuesday October 17 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Victor Baxter officiating.  Burial will be in the Brandy Camp Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lighthouse Community Church 732 Main Street Brockway, PA 15824
