Vaughn Steele

Vaughn Steele age 86 a lifelong Beechwood’s resident died on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Nelson’s Golden Years in DuBois. Born on December 1, 1937 in Beechwood’s, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Mary L. Klingensmith Steele. On July 11, 1959 he was married to Shirley M. Repiscak and she preceded him in death on November 21, 2018. Retired, Vaughn had been employed as a Tool Room Foreman at Brockway Glass for over 45 years. He was a member of the Moorhead Methodist Church. Vaughn loved antique cars and was a member of the Punxsutawney Region of the AACA Car Club. He also enjoyed food, from grand dinners to plain ole snacking. Vaughn is survived by 2 sons David (Mary Kay) Steele and Daniel (Tammy) Steele both of Falls Creek; a brother Gary (Lois) Steele of Shippenville, PA; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A private Funeral Service was held with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. Burial was in Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway.
