Vaughn Eugene Everett age 80 of Route 28 North Brockway, PA; died on Saturday February 19, 2022 at his residence. Born on April 9, 1941 in Idamar, PA; he was the son of the late Fred and Helen Winkelman Everett. He is survived by his spouse Brenda Everett whom he married on June 13, 1981. Retired, Vaughn had been employed at Schaefer Equipment as a Side Load Operator. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served on the USS Calcaterra (DE-390). Vaughn was a member of the V.F.W; the National Rifle Association, and the Eagles Club in Brookville. He was a tinkering kind of fella that could fix just about anything. He also enjoyed woodworking and hunting. But more than hunting Vaughn enjoyed being out in the woods and in tune with nature. In addition to his wife Brenda, he is also survived by 2 daughters: Shannon (Joel) Caracciolo of Bristolville, Ohio; Terri (David) Matt of Aurora, Ohio; a son Hunter (Suzanne) Everett of Loveland, Ohio; 2 sisters: Ruth Ganley and Linda Kite both of Brockway; a brother Ed (Ruth) Everett of San Diego, CA; 3 grandchildren: Devon Matt, Nick Matt, Emiliana Everett and 2 step-grandchildren: Gaven Wildman and Lenora Ramirez Wildman. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, February 23 from 1PM to 3PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Andrew Verner officiating. Burial will be in the Temple Cemetery at Hazen.
