Thomas A. Wylam age 89 of Jackson Street Reynoldsville, PA; died on Thursday October 13, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on March 6, 1933 in Reynoldsville, he was the son of the late Glenn and Gladys Foltz Wylam. Tom was married to Anna Belle Lindemuth on August 31, 1958 and she preceded him in death on May 16, 2022. Retired, he started out working at Buzzards Garage in Reynoldsville where he was employed for 18 years. He then went to work at Keystone Carbon as a machinist where he worked for another 18 years until his retirement. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and a member of the Reynoldsville American Legion Post #392. Tom was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville. He also was a member of the F.O.E. Eagles #540 in Reynoldsville and served as Past Master of the John M. Read Masonic Lodge. He was an all around handy man who took great pride in his work and enjoyed immensely helping others. He also was an avid hunter and car guy. Tom is survived by a brother Gordon “Pat” Wylam and a nephew Robert G. Wylam both of Reynoldsville. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, October 18 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Steven Hendrikson officiating. Burial will follow in the Reynoldsville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
