Sharon R. Rodger

Sharon R. Rodger age 82 of Campbell Road Brockway, PA; died on Tuesday September 10, 2024 at her residence. Born on June 26, 1942 in Northampton, PA; she was the daughter of the late Allen and Grace Rissmiller Eberts. On May 19, 1962 she was married to Roy I. Rodger and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2023. Sharon was a homemaker and was Protestant by faith. She enjoyed trying her luck with lottery tickets, taking trips to the casino, playing bingo and watching TV. Sharon is survived by 2 daughters Wanda Jose and Carrie Ann Rodger both of Brockway; 2 sons Roy I. Rodger Jr. of Ohio and Randy Rodger also of Brockway; a sister Janice (Don) McKenzie of Bath, PA; a brother Allen (Sharon) Eberts of Walnutport, PA; grandchildren: Nathan, Lilly, Brea, Elaina, Heather, Cody, Courtney and Candace. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by sisters Sandy Smith, Linda Detwiler, Carrie Ann “Penny” Werkheiser and brothers Larry and Herbert Eberts. There will be no public visitation. A private Graveside Service will be held with Sherilyn Sheets, hospice chaplain officiating. Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway. Memorial donations may be made to the Brockway Volunteer Hose Company PO Box 253 Brockway, PA 15824 or Penn Highlands DuBois Hospice 100 Hospital Avenue DuBois, PA 15801.
