Sandra L. Freemer

Sandra L. Freemer age 74 of Penn Avenue Brockway, PA; died on Friday November 10, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on October 23, 1949 in Punxsutawney, PA; she was the daughter of the late Robert and Betty Holben McHenry. On January 6, 1973 she was married to Lester Freemer and he survives. Over the years Sandra was employed as a secretary at the Punxsutawney High School, was employed at the DuBois Hospital and also worked many years at the former Deposit Bank now First Commonwealth in Brockway. She enjoyed reading, watching movies on the “Lifetime” Channel, going out to eat and trying new foods and restaurants, camping and most of all spending time with her family. In addition to her husband she is also survived by a daughter Jennifer (Matthew) Snelick; 3 brothers Ron, Robert and Dennis McHenry; 2 granddaughters Briana (Justin Ball) Snelick; Chelsea (Cody) Anderson and 2 great grandchildren Wade and Wren Anderson. All Services for Sandra will be private at the convenience of her family. Burial will be in the Beechtree Cemetery.
