Sally Chamberlin

Sally D. Chamberlin age 88 a Kearney Road Brockway, PA resident, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at her residence. Born on December 20, 1937 in Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Eric and Erma Billingsley Carlson. On August 31, 1956 she was married to Curtis W. Chamberlin and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2014. Retired, Sally had been employed at the Credit Union in Brockway as a Teller. She was a member of the Moorhead Methodist Church in Brockway. Sally enjoyed cooking, baking, any and all social events, and she especially enjoyed going to the Chatterbox when it was still open. Sally also enjoyed trips to Lancaster, PA to visit with her many Amish friends, especially her adoptive Amish family the Stoltzfus family. She is survived by daughters Nancy Chamberlin of Brockway, Diane Welsh of Burlington, NC; a son Jeffrey Chamberlin also of Brockway; sisters Joyce (Elvin) Snyder of Brockway and Delores Peterson of Ridgway, PA and a brother Blaine (Patty) Carlson of Brockway; 4 grandchildren: Jennifer (Ryan) Croston, Nicholas Moore, Daniel (Lyndsay) Welsh and Jacob (Emily) Moore; 5 great-grandchildren: Connor, Lylah, Carson and Karli Croston and Eric Welsh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her chihuahua puppy Toby. We also can’t forget her loving companion George Shaffer and his daughter Jaci Rebo. Together they kept each other busy. Perhaps their favorite activity together was going to car shows where George displayed his antique automobile. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 31 from 10 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Cemetery in Hazen. Memorial donations may be made to the Gateway Humane Society PO Box 678 Falls Creek, PA 15840.
