Roy I. Rodger

Roy I. Rodger age 80 of Campbell Road Brockway, PA; died on Friday August 4, 2023 at his residence. Born on May 9, 1943 in Lower Nazareth Twp, PA; he was the son of the late Earl and Hilda Silfris Rodger. He was married to Sharon Ebert on May 19, 1962 and she survives. Roy had worked in the powdered metal industry all of his life and at his retirement he was the co-owner of ARC Metals in Ridgway, PA. He was Protestant by faith, and enjoyed golfing and fishing. Roy was a member of the Falls Creek Eagles Club, the Big O Club and the VFW Club both in DuBois. In addition to his wife he is also survived by daughters Wanda Jose and Carrie Ann (Don) Heilbrun both of Brockway; sons Roy I. Rodger Jr of Ohio and Randy Rodger also of Brockway; sisters Clara Ebert and Nancy Riley both of Bath, PA; Grandchildren: Nathan, Lilly, Brea, Elaina, Heather, Cody, Courtney and Candace. Roy is also survived by 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother Jimmy and a step-brother William. There will be no public visitation. A private Graveside Service will be held with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway.
