Robert Marchiori Obituary

Robert (Bob) Lawrence Marchiori passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at home, with family by his side. Born August 11, 1934, he was the son of the late Battista Marchiori and Eugenia (Pedrini) Marchiori.

A Brockport resident for most of his life, he was a 1952 graduate of Horton High School, Brockport, PA. On February 19, 1955 he married Anna A. (Sicheri) Marchiori, at Holy Cross Church, Brandy Camp, PA. He was a life-long member of Holy Cross Church and a current member of St. Tobias Church, Brockway, PA.

Bob Honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Georgia and Germany.

A man with a strong work ethic, Bob worked hard to take care of his family. With his brother Frank, he owned and operated M&M Aluminum Castings and with his wife, Anna, founded Marchiori Christmas Tree Farm. After retiring as a machinist from Owens Brockway Glass with 43 years of service, Bob dedicated much of his time to maintaining and growing the Marchiori Christmas Tree Farm to ensure this lasting legacy for his family. As an avid outdoorsman, he instilled the love of hunting and fishing deeply in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife, Anna A. Marchiori, children Denise (Bud) Wright, Cindy Cooper, Gary (Patti) Marchiori, Donna (Bill) Crawford, and Kenneth Marchiori. He is also survived by grandchildren Justin (Aimee) Trunzo, Lucas (Emily) Marchiori, Andrew Crawford, and Edward (Liz) Crawford, and great-grandchildren Alex and Austin Trunzo, Meadow Marchiori, and Sam and Olivia Crawford, in whom he took great joy. He is additionally survived by sisters-in-law Mary Coppede and Bonnie Lines, as well as extended family and friends that were very important to him.

As the youngest of Battista and Eugenia Marchiori’s eight children, he was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, sisters Flora Battitori, Eva and Jean Marchiori, Josephine Eck, and brothers Mario, Frank, and Louis Marchiori. He was also predeceased by a beloved grandson, Ryan M. Marchiori, and his life-long friend and nephew Richard Battitori.

Per Bob’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 6, 12:00 noon, at St. Tobias Church in Brockway, PA with Fr.
