Obituary

Paul J. Janesko Jr. age 88 of Game School Road Brockway, Pa, died on Saturday July 30, 2022 at Highland View Health Care in Brockway. Born on August 23, 1933 in Elizabeth, NJ; he was the son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Jacobs Janesko Sr. On November 21, 1959 he was married to Marion Kovalick and she preceded him in death on April 26, 2007. Retired, Paul had previously worked in the Receiving Department at Montgomery Ward in DuBois, and then in Nutrition Services at the DuBois Regional Medical Center now Penn Highlands. He was a member at St. Tobias Church in Brockway where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and attended daily mass for many many years. Paul served in the U.S. Navy and was  a Korean War Veteran. He was one of seven children including sisters Helen, Marie and Teresa and brothers Raymond, Jerry and Richard. There will be no public visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 9 at 10:00 AM at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Fr. John Detisch presiding. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Tobias Church 1135 Hewitt Street Brockway, PA 15824.
