Nick Anthony Verne May 26, 1993 – February 26, 2026
 

Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating the life of Nick Anthony Verne, whose kindness, laughter, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of many.
 

Nick was born on May 26, 1993, and passed away on February 26, 2026.
 

He was the beloved son of Paul Verne and Antoinette Verne; cherished brother of Andrea Verne Renfrow; treasured fiancé of Samantha Williams; and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
 

Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Darrell Verne, Richard Tamburlin, and Veronica Payne, whose memories he carried with him throughout his life.
 

Nick grew up enjoying Boy Scouts, baseball, track and field, basketball, football, and hunting. From an early age, he developed a passion for firearms and competitive shooting. He was a member of the Waverton Mountain Peace Keepers Shooting Club and proudly participated on a cowboy shooting team alongside his great-uncle, Butch Tamburlin. Known by his cowboy shooting name, "Vernick," Nick embraced the camaraderie and traditions of the sport he loved.
 

Nick earned his Millwright degree while working at the Owens-Illinois Glass Factory and dedicated himself to his trade. He was later employed by Graphic Packaging then Weyerhaeuser Lumber Mill, where he was respected for his strong work ethic, skill, and commitment.
 

Nick will be remembered for his generous heart, unwavering loyalty, quick wit, and willingness to lend a helping hand. Whether spending time outdoors, enjoying the company of family and friends, or pursuing the hobbies he loved, he lived life with enthusiasm and authenticity.
 

Though his time with us was far too short, Nick's memory will live on through the countless lives he touched, the stories shared, and the love he gave so freely.
 

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
 

A Celebration of Nick’s life will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 11:00 AM at the Abide Baptist Church in Camas, Washington. Food to follow. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Wolverton Mountain Peace Keepers PO Box 80605 Portland, Oregon 97280. It is a cowboy shooting club, and his club name was Vernick. Shooting was his favorite pass time. He loved doing it with his Uncle Bear Run Butch.
