Mildred E. Bryan

Mildred Ellen Bryan age 82 of Beechton Road Brockway, PA; died on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at her residence. Born on May 4, 1939 in Kelly Station, PA; she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marceal Wolfe Fennell Sr. On September 9, 2000 she was married to Steven W. Bryan and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2010. Retired, Millie started out working at O-I Brockway Glass in 1977 as a Janitor and worked her way up to Mould Inspector when she retired in 2001. She was Protestant by faith. Millie was an avid gardener, especially at growing flowers. She also loved to collect dolls, teddy bears and working on jig saw puzzles. She is survived by a daughter Rebecca “Becky” Pearsall of Reynoldsville, PA; a son John Armstrong of Brockway; 5 sisters: Mary (William) Libengood of Apollo, PA; Grace (Don) Watson of Umatilla, Florida;  Patricia (Dewey) Yates of Milton, WV; Joan (Buel) Carringer of Marble, NC; Arlene (Gary) Sturgill of Vandergrift, PA; and a brother Harold (Joy) Fennell Jr. of Leechburg, PA. Millie is also survived by 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 2 great granddaughters and 2 great grandsons, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by a sister Donna Rearic and a step son Scott A. Bryan. Calling hours will be on Monday, September 13 from 7PM to 9PM and on Tuesday September 14 from 2PM to 4PM  at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4PM also at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in the Beechtree Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Hahne Cancer Center 100 Hospital Avenue DuBois, PA 15801.
