Michael A. "Cheezie" Romero age 51 of Route 219 Brockway, PA; died on Saturday April 10, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on April 6, 1970 in Charleston, West Virginia he was the son of the late James Romero and Joyce Ward Romero who survives and lives in Brockway. Mike was employed at O-I Brockway Glass as a Palletizer Operator. He was a member of the V.F.W. Club and the Horton Sportsmen’s Club. Mike enjoyed gardening, cooking, camping at the river and going to rock concerts. In addition to his mother he is also survived by 4 aunts: Peggy Frechione, Pat Coyle, Lou Ann Rhed, Tina Dennison and 2 uncles: Jack and Nick Ward. In addition to his father he is also preceded in death by a half sister Tina Romero and 2 half brothers Joe and Tony Romero. Friends will be received on Thursday, April 15 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. Social distancing protocols will be in place and masks are required. Burial will be in the Beechtree Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Gateway Humane Society 1211 Airport Road Falls Creek, PA 15850 or to the charity of the donors choice.
