Mark R. Hooten age 63 of Alexander Street Brockway, PA; died on Saturday April 6, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on January 16, 1961 in DuBois, he was the son of the late Walter Hooten and Nancy Charlesen Hooten who survives and lives in Brockway. Retired, he had worked in the Shipping Department at O-I Brockway Glass. He was Protestant by faith. Mark enjoyed taking walks on the Rails to Trails, reading and especially listening to the Grateful Dead. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by a daughter Mandy (A.J.) Probola III of North Braddock, PA; 3 brothers: Jeff (Glenda) Hooten of DuBois; Ben Hooten of Brockway; Gary (Rene) Hooten of Kittanning, PA and a step-grandson A.J. Probola IV. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be on Tuesday April 9 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation at arborday.org
