Mark J. Dugan Sr. age 89 a lifelong Church Avenue Brockway, PA resident, currently a resident at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, died on Thursday November 7, 2024. Born on January 4, 1935 in Brockway, he was the son of the late John E. and Cecilia Baka Dugan Sr. On December 22, 1962 he was married to Sigrid “Jane” Berty and she survives. Retired, Mark had been employed at Brockway Glass Plant 1 as a Hot End Operator. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mark was a member at both St. Tobias Church in Brockway and St. Bernards Church in Falls Creek. At St. Tobias Mark was a faithful servant at almost all funeral masses for many years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed gardening, especially growing vegetables. In addition to his wife he is also survived by a son Mark J. Dugan Jr. of Falls Creek, a niece Susan (Marc) Gelfand of Treasure Lake and a nephew John (Shelly) Dugan of Clarion, PA. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother John Dugan, a sister Catherine Price and an infant brother Matthew. Visitation will be on Monday, November 11 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the chapel at Christ the King Manor. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10:30 AM with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway. Full Military Honors will be accorded Monday morning at the cemetery by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion funeral detail. Memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Manor 1100 W.
