Marie A. Pasi

Marie A. Pasi, 85, a lifelong Brandy Camp, PA resident  (currently a resident of Punxsutawney) passed away on Wednesday, November 08, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on December 11, 1937, to the late George and Rose (Donati) Morelli in Elbon, PA. 

On October 6, 1962, she married the love of her life, Irvin (Doc) Pasi, who survives.

Marie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was a kind, caring and compassionate person who would say her daily rosary for friends and family or anyone else who was in need. She was a wonderful cook and baker and gifted her nieces and nephews on their wedding days with hundreds of dozens of beautifully made cookies. Everything she touched she made special.

Marie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Irvin (Doc) Pasi, two children, daughter Renee (Tony) Runco of Punxsutawney and son Terry (Lynne) Pasi of Westerville, Ohio, four grandchildren, Nicholas Runco, Matthew (Haley) Pasi, Kaitlyn Pasi, Michael Pasi and great-grandson, Mason Pasi, whom she all adored, a brother, Francis (Linda) Morelli, Sr, of Brockway, a sister, Georgia (Gerald) Stenta of Ridgway and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 4-7 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at St. Leo’s Parish in Ridgway with Fr. Justin Pino presiding.  Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Ridgway. 
Memorials may be made in Marie’s memory to St. Leo’s Parish or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
