Marie S. Lockwood

Marie S. Lockwood age 83 a lifelong Westville Road Brockway, PA resident died on Sunday May 28, 2023 at Highland View Health Care Center in Brockway. Born on September 3, 1939 in Brookville, PA; she was the daughter of the late Fred and Susan Ewing Quinn. On October 11, 1957 she was married to Robert “Harney” Lockwood and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2015. Marie was a homemaker and a member of the Lanes Mills United Methodist Church. She enjoyed taking family trips to Florida, golfing, Steeler Football games and watching the deer and birds in her yard. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by a daughter DiAnn (Jack) Delp; 4 sisters: Gwen Keys, Jane Lundberg, Marge Lindemuth and Mary Lundberg a sister in law Sharon Rokosky a brother in law Gary Lockwood; 9 grandchildren: Robert (Alyssa) Buckley, Regina Lockwood, Nicole (Jarrod) Miller, Mandy (Luke) Poloff, Erin (Chris) Corridoni, Doug Lockwood, Adam (Chanelle) Lockwood, Jack (Kala) Delp and Michelle Delp; great grandchildren: Lily and Hunter Miller, Quinn and Ella Poloff, Saige and Luca Corridoni and Magnolia Lockwood. In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by a brother Thomas Quinn, a son Douglas Lockwood and a great granddaughter Laikyn Marie Corridoni. Visitation will be on Tuesday May 30 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway and again from 10 AM to 11 AM on Wednesday May 31st .  A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Andrew Verner officiating. Burial will follow in the Beechwoods Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lanes Mills United Methodist Church 362 Rattlesnake Road Brockway, PA 15824. Marie’s family would like to thank her church family at Lanes Mills, Dr. Devlin, the staff at the DuBois Village, and everyone at Highland View Health Care.
