Margaret A. Stubbs

Margaret A. Stubbs age 75 a lifelong resident of Brockway, currently a resident of Johnsonburg, PA; died on Saturday July 20, 2024 at her residence. Born on October 10, 1948 in Luciusboro, PA (Indiana County) she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Grace Smith Hinton. On January 4, 1966 she was married to Gary Lenwood Stubbs and he preceded her in death on January 20, 2021. Retired, she had been employed at Brockway Glass as a Packer/Re-Selector. Margaret was a member of the Brockway Church of God. She enjoyed reading, adult coloring books and crocheting. She is survived by a daughter Melissa Smith of DuBois; a sister Patricia Iozzo also of Johnsonburg; 2 brothers Kenneth Hinton of Ridgway; Dennis (Nancy) Hinton of St Marys, PA; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by a son Gary Louis Stubbs and a brother Harry Hinton. Visitation will be on Friday July 26 from 1 PM to 4 PM and 5 PM to 7 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Ridgway. Memorial donations may be made to the Brockway Church of God.
