Marcia M. Jarrett

Marcia Marie Jarrett age 67 a resident at Elk Towers in St. Marys, PA; went to be with her loved ones and her Lord and Savior on Sunday July 30, 2023 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on July 25, 1956 in Brookville, PA; she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Amanda Lindemuth Jarrett. Retired, Marcia had worked as a cook at many different area restaurants over the years. She was Protestant by faith, and enjoyed crocheting, crafting and especially cake decorating. Marcia also was perhaps “Tweety Bird’s” biggest fan. She is survived by 3 sons: Marvin (Robin Baxter) Morris Jr of Brockway; Shawn (Brittany) Morris of Kersey, PA; Allan Morris of Johnsonburg, PA; a sister Bonnie Nichols also of Johnsonburg and 8 grandchildren: Emma, Elaina, Eva, Elijah, Shya, Mason, Amber and Simon Morris. She is also survived by Crystal Larkin, Beth Anderson and Amy Huber-Morris as well as numerous nieces and nephews.   In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a daughter Jeannie Morris, a sister Sandra Fields and a brother Larry Jarrett.  Friends and family will be received on Friday August 4 from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Lighthouse Community Church in Brockway. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:15 AM with Rev. Dr. Victor Baxter officiating. Burial will be in Temple Cemetery in Hazen. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lighthouse Community Church 732 Main Street Brockway, PA 15824 or the American Cancer Society.
