Linda D. Pierce

Linda Darlene Pierce age 72 of Clay Plant Road Brockway, PA; died on Saturday December 16, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born of August 2, 1951 in DuBois, PA; she was the daughter of the late Don C. and Betty Jane Holmes Kearney. She was married to Donald Pierce and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2001. She was a homemaker and attended the Moorhead Methodist Church in Brockway. Linda was an Elvis fan, loved Nascar Racing, dancing, laughing and most of all spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by a daughter Bridget Heilbrun of Brockport; 2 sons Don Heilbrun and Shawn Heilbrun both of Brockway; 3 sisters Marsha (Don) Guthridge of Falls Creek, PA; Karen “Shine” (Michael) Soble of Bellefonte, PA and Dawn “Peach” (David) Holt of Rockton, PA. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Nathan, Lilly, Brea and Elaina Heilbrun. In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents William and Bessie Kearney and her maternal grandparents Donald and Gladys Holmes. There will be no public visitation and all services for Linda will be private at the convenience of her family. Burial will be in the Beechwoods Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Hahne Cancer Center 100 Hospital Avenue DuBois, PA 15801.
