Lester Williams

Donald Lester Williams age 68 of Main Street Brockway, PA; died on Saturday January 8,  2022. Born on January 5, 1954 in DuBois, PA; he was the son of the late Amos and Nola G. Lindemuth Williams. Retired, Lester had been employed at Brockway Glass/O-I for 37 years in furnace maintenance. He was Methodist by faith. Lester was a member of the Brockway Sportsmen’s Club, the Sons of Italy Club in Brockway, the VFW Club in Crenshaw and the Horton Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed golfing, going to camp, playing cinch and shooting pool. He also was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. Mostly Lester just enjoyed spending time with his family. He made his home with his “wife” Debra Trude who survives him; a daughter Jennifer Gardner of St Marys, PA; a son Donald C. (Courtney) Williams of Stump Creek, 2 sisters: Cindy Carnahan of Brockway, Jackie (Chuck) Caggiano of Ridgway, 3 brothers: Daniel (Joni) Williams of Reynoldsville, Dave (Lisa) Williams of Brockway, John (Jennifer) Williams of Brookville, 2 step-daughters: Tracy (Dustin) Hidinger of Munderf, Carrie (Barry) Schulties of Reynoldsville, 4 grandchildren: Alex Gardner, Kayla Gardner, Dana Gardner and Tyler Williams; 3 step-grandchildren: Troy (Erin) Hidinger, Bobbi Klozar and Carlee Hidinger. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother Dwight Williams and infant twin sisters Bonnie and Nancy. All services for Lester will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Temple Cemetery at Hazen. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
