Leslie M. Trunzo age 56 a Shawmut Road Brockport, PA resident, died on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at her residence. Born on December 7, 1969 in DuBois, PA; she is the daughter of the late Robert H. Welsh and Joyce Boleen Welsh who survives and lives in Falls Creek, PA. On October 18, 1997 she was married to Patrick J. Trunzo, and they have enjoyed 28 years of married life together. Leslie is a 1987 graduate of the Brockway High School, and a 1993 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Leslie has been employed in the accounting field for over 35 years in both public and manufacturing positions. Most recently she was employed at Troxell & Associates in DuBois. She enjoyed traveling and spending time outdoors hiking or biking on the trails around the beautiful area we live in. Her greatest joy though came from spending time with her family. In addition to her mother and her husband she is also survived by daughters Rachel (Andrew) Swartwood of Pittsburgh; Sara (Garrett) Trunzo of Washington, PA; Leah Trunzo of Brockport; a brother Dennis (Sheila) Welsh of Falls Creek; sisters Marla (Ron) Sunderland also of Falls Creek; Pam (John) Basl of Brockway; a brother-in-law Jeff Trunzo (Sean Manley) of Bonita Springs, FL; sister-in-law Diann (Darren) Bryan of DuBois; nephews Kevin (Laura) Basl of Ithaca, NY; Greg (Shannon) Basl of Brockway; Clay Sunderland of Falls Creek; and Eric Bryan also of DuBois; nieces Theresa (Jake) Coll of Keene, NH; Bobbi Jalava and Alicia Bryan of Harrisburg, PA. In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her Father and Mother-in-Law Robert L. and Theresa A. (Cenni) Trunzo. There will be no public visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 6th at 11:00 AM at the Beechwoods Presbyterian Church with Pastors Dave and Emily Koehler officiating. Burial will be in the Beechwoods Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Beechwoods Presbyterian Church 14 Beechwood Road Falls Creek, PA 15840 or to the We Care Fund Brockway Elementary School 40 North Street Brockway, PA 15824 C/O Stephanie Benson.
