Lawrence W. “Speed” Weisner age 90 currently of S. Main Street DuBois, PA; a resident of Hawaii for the past 22 years, died on Saturday October 8, 2022. Born on November 7, 1931 in Brockway, PA; he was the son of the late Charles and Josephine Pisarchick Weisner. On March 23, 1953 he was married to Delores Sickeri and she survives. Retired, Larry started out at the age of 12 driving truck hauling coal for the Brockway Clay Company. Trucking was his lifelong passion until his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict with a Medical Detachment in the 1301st Service Unit. In addition to his wife he is also survived by a daughter Linda (Dale) Williams of DuBois and sons Gary (Sue) Weisner of Treasure Lake and Charles (Rhea) Weisner of Hawaii/the Philippines. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by sisters Betty Owen and Pauline Duttry. A private service was held with Fr. John Detisch officiating. Full Military Honors were accorded by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion.
