Larry J. Uplinger

Larry J. Uplinger age 81 of Buckhorn Lane Ridgway, PA; died on Tuesday February 1, 2022 at UPMC Cole in Coudersport, PA. Born on December 23, 1940 in Brockway, PA; he was the son of the late Albert B. and Maxine E. Lindemuth Uplinger. He was married to Joyce Papa on May 16, 2003 and she preceded him in death on December 10, 2019. Retired, Larry had been employed at Brockway Glass as a Supervisor. He was a member of the American Legion in Ridgway, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He is survived by a daughter Shari Glasgow of Illinois; 2 sons: Mark (Erica) Uplinger of Brockway and Chad (Angela) Uplinger of Erie, PA; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 6 step-daughters; 9 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great grandchildren. Calling hours will be on Saturday, February 12 from 3PM to 5PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway, PA. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Ridgway. Memorial donations may be made to the Elk County Humane Society 1029 E. Eschbach Road St. Marys, PA 15857
