Karen L. Kalgren

Karen L. Kalgren age 63 of Apollo Drive Brockport, PA. died on Tuesday August 30, 2022 at her residence. Born on August 10, 1959 in Ridgway, PA; she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Smith Yonkie. Karen was married to John Kalgren in 1986 and he survives. Retired, she had been employed at Pizza Hut in St Marys for over 40 years. She enjoyed growing flowers, baking cookies, watching old TV shows and playing games on her lap top. In addition to her husband she is also survived by a son Ryan Kalgren of Brockport; a sister Deb (Scott) Donachy of Greensburg, PA and a brother Don (Kim) Yonkie of Elgin, South Carolina. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a sister Linda Heitzenrater. Calling hours will be on Friday, September 2 from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens at Ridgway. Memorial donations may be made to the Brockway Church of God 85 Charnisky Drive Brockway, PA 15824.
