Julia A. “Judy” Marchiori age 80 a long time Brockport, PA resident died on Sunday October 2, 2022 at Highland View Health Care in Brockway. Born on September 10, 1942 in Ridgway, PA; she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Julia Sheeley Dinsmore. Judy was married to Louis Marchiori and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2009. Retired, She had worked in the kitchen at the Rocky Grill for many years and at her retirement she was employed at Allegheny Powdered Metals. Judy was a member at Holy Cross Church in Brandy Camp and later at St. Boniface Church in Kersey. She was a member of the Horton Sportsmen’s Club and the Horton Twp./Brockway Lions Club. Judy is survived by a daughter Lynn (Chris) Cavalline of Brockway; a son Chuck Marchiori of Brockport; a step-son David (Sally) Marchiori of California; a daughter in law Joann Marchiori of Elizabethtown, PA; a sister Joan Armanini of Ridgway; 8 grandchildren Alan, Jessica, David, Ann, Emma, Jared, Vinny, Mia and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by and extended family of special nieces and nephews, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by 3 sisters Catherine Johnston, Mary Lou Iorfida, Elinor Krise and 2 brothers Charles Dinsmore and Raymond “Buck” Dinsmore and a step son Michael Marchiori. Calling hours will be on Friday October 7 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 8 at 10:00 AM at St. Tobias Church also in Brockway with Fr. John Detisch presiding. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery at Brandy Camp. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
