Joyce L. Stewart

Joyce L. Stewart age 80 of Jared Street DuBois, PA; died on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on August 25, 1945 in Ithaca, NY; she was the daughter of the late Harold B. and Josephine Myers Connelly. On September 7, 1981 she was married to James T. Stewart and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2025. Joyce was a homemaker, and she enjoyed cooking and reading. She is survived by daughters Billie Jo Jokenin of Houston, TX; Dorothy Ann Jarrett of  Dorset, Ohio; Carol Jean Scott of Ashtabula, Ohio; step-daughters Amelia Coyne of the state of Washington; Cathy Petrillo of DuBois, PA; sisters Diane (Dale) Kearney of Brockway; Carolyn (Joe) Newton of Kersey, PA; Jacalyn (James) Avery of Ithaca, NY; Kathleen (Robert) Mead of Oxford, Mississippi and a brother John “Eddie” Connelly of Owego, NY. Joyce is also survived by numerous grandchildren. There will be no public visitation. All Services for Joyce will be private at the convenience of her family.
