John "Bob" Roush

John R. “Bob” Roush age 85 a resident at the DuBois Nursing Home died on Sunday June 18, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on June 25, 1937 in Richardsville, PA; he was the son of the late Robert and Mary Bell Smith Roush. He was married to Judy Roush and she preceded him in death on July 16, 2002. Retired, Bob had been employed in the Shipping and Receiving Department at Brockway Pressed Metals. He attended the Lake Side United Methodist Church in DuBois. He was a member of the Brockway Sportsmen’s Club and the Orient Club in Brockway. Bob enjoyed playing horseshoes and watching Nascar Racing. He is survived by a daughter Vicki (Romney) Reynolds of Brookville, PA; 2 sons Mike Roush of Brockway and David Roush of Hollidaysburg, PA; a sister Dorothy Jean Knapp of DuBois; 3 grandchildren: TJ Bish, Michael Roush, Kyle Reynolds and 2 great grandchildren Cheyanne Roush and Hunter Bish. In addition to his parents and his wife he is also preceded in death by a sister Bertha Roush. Visitation will be on Tuesday June 27 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery in DuBois. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
