Jean L. Swearer

Jean Larue Swearer, 91, went to be with the Lord on the afternoon of Monday November 11, 2024. She was born in DuBois, PA on September 20, 1933 to George and Laura (Faust) Harding. On October 17, 1953, she married Edward W. Swearer Sr. and they had four sons. 
 

Jean spent most of her life in Brockway, PA, but also lived in Texas for a brief time. She then resided at Avalon Springs in Mercer, PA. Jean loved the Lord with all her heart and was an active member of Lanes Mills Methodist Church in Brockway, PA for many years. She developed many wonderful friendships over the years and enjoyed socializing over coffee with them.
 

Jean is survived by two siblings, Jane and Paul, her sons, Edward Jr. (Cynthia), George (Diane), Doug (Debbie), and Jerry (Charlene), several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and six siblings.
