Jamie Lee Taube died on Saturday December 30, 2023 at his residence. Born on June 30, 1988 in DuBois, PA; he is the son of Ginger Taube of Brockway, PA and Ronald Edwards Sr. who lives in Reynoldsville, PA. In addition to his mother and his father he is survived by 2 sisters Becky (Tyrone) Marshall of DuBois, PA and Tara Kerr of Penfield, PA; 2 brothers Ronald Edwards Jr. (Bri Sayers) of St Marys, PA; Kyle Kerr of DuBois, PA; maternal grandmother Jenni Kerr of Howard, PA; paternal grandfather David H. Edwards of Reynoldsville, PA; 2 nieces Marina Marshall and Abrie Kerr; 3 nephews Tyrone Marshall, Tripp Pyne and Blake Mitten, as well as beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Louis and Carol Taube, maternal grandfather Ed Kerr and paternal grandmother Gertrude Edwards and maternal uncle Dane Taube.
Jamie was a 2006 graduate of Brockway Area High School and was a member of Boy Scout Troop 35. He enjoyed being outdoors, good music and just living life to the fullest. What is most memorable to all who knew Jamie was his big beautiful heart, the love he gave so freely to so many, his acceptance of people just as they are, his sincere honesty and his unyielding stubborn streak. His love for his family knew no bounds, but the love he had for his nieces and nephews made your heart smile. He thoroughly enjoyed simply hanging out with, and of course teasing them every chance he could. They absolutely adored their Uncle Jamie.
Jamie’s friends meant the world to him and he had some of the absolute best friends a person could ever ask for. He, and they are so very fortunate to know how rare and precious having a true friend is. Jamie’s family and friends are so very proud of the man he had become and cherished all that he was. We all have our own share of darkness, self-improvements we’d like to make, but Jamie never let that overshadow his beautiful, loving heart or his sweet soul. The loss of seeing his infectious smile, hearing his laugh, feeling his love – even his stubborn streak will leave an ache in many hearts. We are all so fortunate to have had such a special soul in our lives.
“…from time to time, there arise amongst human beings, people who seem to exude love as naturally as the sun gives out heat. “ Allen W. Watts.
This was our Jamie Lee.
