Irene Hetrick

Irene Hetrick age 98 of Howard Road Brockport, PA; died on Wednesday August 18, 2021 at her residence. Born on November 20, 1922 in Brockport, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Oleta Clark Nulf. She was married to Donald I. Hetrick and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1992. Retired, Irene had been employed at Brockway Glass as a packer. She attended the Brockport  United Methodist Church and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Irene enjoyed working outside around her house, going camping over at Treasure Lake and playing bingo and card games. She is survived by a daughter Donna Truesdale of Brockport, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by a daughter Sharon Pecht, 2 sisters: Vivian Anderson, June Golding 2 brothers: Leon Nulf, Richard Nulf and a granddaughter Terri Gustafson. All services for Irene will be private at the convenience of her family. Memorial donations may be made to the Gateway Humane Society 1211 Airport Road Falls Creek, PA 15840. The Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway is handling the arrangements.
