Herbert Axel Palm Jr. age 85 of Route 219 Brockway, PA; died on Sunday May 22, 2022 at his residence. Born on May 31, 1936 in DuBois, PA; he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Mildred Carlson Palm Sr. On January 1, 1958 he was married to Gloria Brown and she survives. Retired, Herb had been been employed as a Machine Operator in the hot end at Brockway Glass. He was a U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran and was a member at Moorhead United Methodist Church in Brockway. Herb was an avid reader, and his favorite pastime was going to the race track and watching racing with his good friend Don Bailey. In addition to his wife Gloria he is also survived by a daughter Eileen (Rich) Siple of Brockway; a sister Barb White of Lakeland, Florida; 2 grandchildren: Lynette (Rich) Brzozowski of Philadelphia and Michael (Valerie) Siple of Pittsburgh, PA. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 27 at 11:00 AM at the Moorhead United Methodist church in Brockway with Pastor Andrew Verner officiating. Full Military Honors will be accorded Friday morning at the church by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion. Memorial donations may be made to the Mengle Memorial Library 324 Main Street Brockway, PA 15824.
