Greg Work

Gregory J. Work age 61 a Pershing Avenue Brockway, PA resident died on Sunday June 18, 2023. Born on January 13, 1962 in DuBois, PA; he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Norma Snyder Work. Retired, he had been employed at O-I Brockway Glass as a Machine Operator. Greg was a fan of all sports but loved baseball the most. He served as a coach for the Brockway Rovers and American Legion Post #95 baseball teams for many seasons. He is survived by a son Joshua work of Ridgway, PA; his significant other Patricia “Patti”  Preston of Brockway; a sister Carrie (Timothy) McDole of Brockport; 2 brothers Wayne Work also of Brockport and Raymond (Maureen) Work of Clemmons, NC; a step-daughter Erin (Timothy) Kennedy of Burke, VA and a step-son Brian (Jennifer)Preston of North Bend, WA. He is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren: Beric and Avett Preston / Helena and Madeleine Kennedy. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother Ralph Work. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date and will be announced. Memorial donations may be made to the Gateway Humane Society PO Box 678 Falls Creek, PA 15840.
