Glenn E. Girts

Glenn E. Girts age 67 of Chittester Way Brockway, PA; died on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on January 14, 1956 in Wilcox, PA; he was the son of the late William and Harriet Wolfe Girts. Retired, Glenn had be employed at Contact Technologies in St. Marys, and had worked for many years at Trunzo Plumbing and Heating in Brockway. He enjoyed reading, all things cars and car shows, sports especially football and spending time with his family. He is survived by a son Brandon (Elizabeth) Girts of Bellefonte, PA; a daughter Heather (Clay) Ross of Brockport; a son Gregory (Brittany) Weaver of Altoona, PA; a sister Gwen Housler of Ridgway and 5 grandchildren: Elliot and Callan Girts, Jared and Mia Marchiori and Adalyn Weaver. Glenn is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a sister Pearl Nashadka and 3 brothers: Wallace “Bud” Girts, James Girts and Donald Girts. a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 26 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A family led Prayer Service will start at 4 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the DuBois Nursing Home. 212 S 8th Street DuBois, PA 15801.
