Fanny Lee (Fouse) Noland died on July 4, 2025, at Highland View in Brockway. She was born on June 24, 1937 in Alexandria, PA, to her parents Frank L Fouse and Butis Gibson Fouse. She graduated Valedictorian at Juniata HS in 1955. That same year she married Carl Eugene "Geno" Noland in Alexandria. They moved to Brockway in 1957.
Fanny was a member of Philotes, a women's group who looked for ways to do Christian charity. She was the last surviving member. In the early 1970’s she worked part time at Shaffer Jewelry in Brockway with her good friends and owners Bud and Marge Shaffer. She was a member of the Brockway Presbyterian Church, and later the Moorhead United Methodist Church. Her faith was strong.
Fanny was an avid reader all her life and cherished the Mengle Memorial Library. They were a big help to her, especially in her later years. She loved birds, especially bluebirds, and had a large collection of bluebird decorations on display. She also enjoyed bird watching.
Her favorite holiday was July 4th when family and friends would gather at her home to watch the Brockway Old Fashioned Fourth of July Parade.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her three children: Jeanne L (Noland) Clark, Daniel L Noland, and Dennis L Noland, along with ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Fanny is also survived by her sister Faye L (Fouse) Smyers of Mechanicsburg, PA.
There will be no viewing or service at this time per Fanny's request. The family is planning a private Celebration of Life service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Fanny asked for donations to Moorhead Methodist Church, Mengle Memorial Library or Kidney.org.
