Erma J. Chase

Erma J. Chase age 82 of Brockway, PA; passed away Thursday, September 19th 2024 at Christ the King Manor. Erma was born June 6, 1942 the daughter of the late Stanley and Sue Suplizio Pasierb. Erma was a graduate of St. Catherines High School class of 1960. She married James M. Chase on December 28, 1965 and he survives. 

Erma worked most of her life in retail sales. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved going to the Outer Banks and Lancaster, PA to see the different shows at Sighs & Sounds. Erma enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading, playing cards with her grandchildren and baking with her granddaughters. She also loved to read on her tablet. 

Besides her husband, Erma is survived by a son Bill of Curwensville, PA; a son Bob (Cara) of Brockway; 6 grandchildren: Katlyn, Emily, Robert, Anthony, Faith and Courtney. She is also survived by a brother Stanley (Tina) Pasierb Jr. of Rensselaer, NY and a sister Evelyn (John) Carlson of Brockway. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a son James R. Chase. 

There will be no public visitation. A private funeral was held Tuesday, September 24 with Robert Orner officiating. Burial was in Morningside Cemetery in DuBois. Memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Manor 1100 W. Long Avenue DuBois, PA 15801. The family would like to thank the staff at Christ the King Manor for the loving care our mom received.
