Eliza H. Himes

Eliza H. Himes age 101 a former long time Broad Street Brockway resident, currently a resident at Highland View Health Care Center,  died on Saturday, July 11, 2015. Born on November 22, 1913 in Coal Glen, PA; she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruth Ann Renwick Heatherdale. She was married to Raymond O. Himes and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2002. Eliza was a homemaker, and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Brockway. Over the years she loved to do volunteer work especially at the Brockway Historical Museum and at Highland View. She is survived by a son Ronald (Kathy) Himes of Ft. Myers, FL; and a Son-in-Law Dale Billock of Wetumpka, Alabama. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Along with her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by a daughter Ruth Billock and a son Raymond Samuel Himes. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, July 15 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. also at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
