Edward “Ed” Halpin age 74 of Depot Street Brockway, PA; died on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on August 15, 1951 in DuBois, PA; he was the son of the late William and Annabelle Morris Halpin. On October 25, 1975 he was married to Paula Coleman and she survives. Retired, Ed had previously been employed at Brockway Pressed Metals in Brockway for 37 years. After it’s closure, he then went to work at O-I/Brockway Glass until his retirement a few years ago. Ed was Methodist by faith. He was a member at the Sons of Italy Club in Brockway. He loved football, wrestling and baseball, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. In addition to his wife Paula, he is also survived by a daughter Edee Breeden of Brockway; a son John (Danneiele) Colman of Brockway; a brother Mike (Karen) Halpin also of Brockway; grandchildren Desmond Coleman, Shiva Harmon, Dawson Halpin-Fields, Graceann Coleman, Zyann Breeden and Ariana Breeden. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. All services for Ed will be private at the convenience of his family. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
