Edward Alan Buffone

Edward Alan Buffone, age 51, of Hillsboro, Oregon, died on Monday, June 21, 2021.  He was born on January 9, 1970 in Aurora, Colorado.  He is the son of the late David A and Judith (Cobes) Buffone.  He attended high school in DuBois, Pennsylvania and earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Texas.

To him his most important title and role was Dad to two wonderful sons:  Tyler and Dominic.  He was the proudest football dad you've ever met! He loved spending time with his sons who he loved with all of his heart.  He was never happier than when he was with them.  He enjoyed hiking, going to the beach and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He was an accomplished counselor and teacher at several schools and organizations.

He is survived by two sons:  Tyler Buffone and Dominic Harrington of Vancouver, WA; three sisters: Beth Buffone of Keyser, WV, Lorri (Richard) Starr of Brockway, PA and Paige Buffone of New Brighton, PA; a sister-in-law Michelle Smith of DuBois, PA; two aunts:  Cathy Dennis of Lewisburg, PA and Margaret Buffone of Sebring, FL; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Brad Smith and David P Buffone, his paternal grandparents, his maternal grandparents a niece, Amy Liedl and his Uncle Louie Buffone.

The family will have a private service in Oregon.  Friends will be received on Saturday July 10 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Harold O. Jacobson officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery Brockway, PA.
