Dorothy M. Jacobs

Dorothy Marie Jacobs, 85, of Brockway, passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by her loved ones who will honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

A daughter of the late Russell and Ruth (Horn) Jacobs. She was born on April 16, 1936, in Rockton, PA. Dorothy worked at Brockway Glass for almost 30 years. 

She was a loving mother who immensely enjoyed spending time with family and friends, meeting the girls from work for lunch, going to Farmer’s Inn with her friend Eva, doing word search books, going for a ride in the car, and loving and petting the families 3 labs, Quincy, Dunkin, and Hazel.

Besides her parents, “Dottie” was preceded in death by daughter, Kelly Elizabeth; brothers, James, George, and Arthur; and sister, Sara (Robert) Crawford.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Beth Ann and her husband Bill Snedden of Brockway; two granddaughters, Brianna Jacobs of Bisbee, AZ and Kaitlyn Snedden of Sharron, PA; three great-grandchildren, Anaka “Irma Jean” Hill, Kayra “Gerty Bird” Hill, and Carwyn “TBD” Hill all of Bisbee, AZ; and one sister, Ruth (Robert) Bailey of Rockton, PA, along with numerous nieces and nephews

In honor of her final wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial services held.
