Doris M. Marnati

Doris M. Marnati, age 95 of Brockway, PA; passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 surrounded by the love of all her children. She was born to John and Catherine Gardlock Mathers of Brookville on November 26, 1929. She married Frank R. Marnati on November 15, 1948 . He died on December 11, 1992. She had seven siblings; James Mathers, Donald Mathers, Jack Mathers, Shirley Barnett, Nellie Kay Winters and Ruth Brocious. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. 
 

She is survived by seven children; Frances Faith, Sharon (John) Raybuck, Barbara (Robert) Presto, John (Pat) Marnati, and Susan Williams (Tom Pisarchick) all of Brockway, PA; Gale (Keith) Wells of DuBois, PA and Jeff Marnati of Salt Lake City, Utah. She is preceded in death by two sons James Marnati and Joseph Marnati, a granddaughter Jennifer Faith and a Son-in-law Paul Faith. 
 

Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. That joy included the 23 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren whom she considered her most precious gifts from God. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, flower gardening and until recently spending time sitting around the campfire at the family camp. 
 

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 19 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday December 20 at 11:00 AM at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Fr. John Detisch presiding. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or the charity of the donors choice.
