Donald J. Pasi

Donald Joseph “Paz” Pasi age 88 of Brockway, PA; left this life on October 19, 2022. Born August 29, 1934 in Brockway, PA; he was the son of the late Roy Joseph Pasi and Katherine Elizabeth (Mascaro) Pasi. On June 12, 1969 he married Helen Shelley Faust and the two celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2019. Retired, Don spent his career as a long-haul trucker, starting at the age of 16, delivering coal from Clarion, PA to Cleveland, OH; then later working for Brocious Trucking, the Brockway Clay Company, and finally Kephart Trucking in Bigler, PA. In addition to his love of the road, he enjoyed family get-togethers, watching cable news, having dessert, and drinking coffee with his friends. Donald was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. In addition to Helen, his wife of 52 years, and his children, Jeffrey (Teresa) Faust, Joel (Karen) Faust, Dana (Michael) Boschini all of Brockway, PA, and Gino (Anne) Pasi of Dayton, Ohio. Don is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and his sister JoAnn (Pasi) Powers also of Brockway. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by a son Jason Faust, a grandson Jason Faust Jr; siblings Leroy Pasi, Dorothy (Pasi) Armanini, Virginia (Pasi) Jose, Richard “Dick” Pasi and an infant sister Kathleen Pasi. Calling hours will be on Saturday October 22 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Tom Henretty officiating. Burial will be in St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway. Full Military Honors will be accorded Saturday morning at the funeral home by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion.
