Donald C. Cepull Sr.

Donald Christopher Cepull Sr. age 80 of Dixon Road Brookville, PA; died on Sunday June 24, 2018 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born on August 8, 1937 in Springdale, PA; he was the son of the late Elmer H. and Anna J. Kutchenriter Cepull. He was married to Kay P. Daugherty and she preceded him in death on March 25, 1999. He then married Joyce Urik on September 20, 2002 and she survives. He attended the Treasure Lake Church. Don was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran and he served in Japan from 1963 to 1968, and he served in Vietnam from September of 1968 to September of 1969. After returning from duty overseas, he was assigned to Andrews Air Force Base where he served as the Presidential Maintenance Officer for the Air Force One Fleet for 5 years. Afterwards he was transferred to McGuire Air Force Base as a Maintenance Officer in the Organizational Maintenance Squadron. From there his military career ended and Don went to work at Rescar in DuBois as a Millwright for 18 years. Currently he is serving as a Polk Twp. Supervisor and Auditor. He is a member of the MAAC Group and is currently serving as its Vice President. He is a member of the Eagles Club, the V.F.W. and the N.R.A. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and reading. In addition to his wife Joyce he is also survived by a son Donald (Maria Bueno) Cepull Jr. of Sterling, VA; a daughter Chris Lyn (Robert) Kistler of Ft. Wayne, IN; a step son Stephen Brian Mosovsky of Tarentum, PA; a step daughter Sherri (L. Fusco) Mosovsky of Pittsburgh, PA; a grandson Christopher Kistler and a granddaughter Lyra Fusco-Mosovsky. He is also preceded in death by a brother Richard Cepull. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, June 27 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 29 at 10:30 AM also at the funeral home with Rev. Dick Whitaker officiating. Full Military Honors will be accorded Friday morning at the funeral home by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Cheswick, PA. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the V.F.W.
