Dawn Marie Havens

Dawn Marie Havens age 85 of State College, PA; died on Saturday October 9, 2021 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on May 9, 1936 in Westville, PA; she was the daughter of the late Ronald Eugene and Arlene Archibald Wingard. On May 9, 1988 she was married to Howard Havens and he survives. Retired, Dawn Marie spent most of her life working as a Home Health Aid and caregiver. She was a long time member of the Beechtree Union Church and after moving out of the Brockway area became a member of the Milesburg Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the church choir. Dawn Marie loved her Lord and Savior, and her life goal was to bring as many people to the Lord as she could. She was a great believer in being a sponsor to many organizations that help the needy, especially those that helped children abroad. Dawn Marie also enjoyed listening to Dr. David Jeremiah. In addition to her husband she is also survived by 3 daughters: Michelle Kelly of Altoona, PA; Robin (Ray) Bartges of Millheim, PA; Kimberly (Todd) Gross of York, PA; 2 sons: Charles Marnati of Millsboro, Delaware and Kenneth Marnati of Felicity, OH; a brother Michael Wingard of Westville and a sister Alta Marie (Chris) Houk of San Marcos, CA. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren: Jessica, Jennifer, Christie, Eric, Jamey, Lynnae, Chantal, Cory, James, Crystal, Charles II, Ivalue, Brent, Jonathan, Kenneth II, Christopher and Morgan as well as by 24 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a brother Ronald E. Wingard Jr. Calling hours will be on Wednesday October 13 from 10AM to 11AM at the Beechtree Union Church 5061 Westville Road Brockway, PA 15824. A Funeral Service will begin at 11AM with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. Burial will follow in the Beechtree Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
