Damon Paul Preston

Damon Paul "Pud" Preston age 49 of Granville Road Brockway, PA; died on Sunday April 16, 2023. Born on September 8, 1973 in DuBois, PA; he is the son of Regis R. and Susan E. Barraclough Preston who survive and live in Brockway.  Damon was a co-owner along with his father of Preston Lumber in Brockway. He was protestant by faith. Damon was a member of the Horton Sportsmen’s Club, the V.F.W. Club,  Brockway Sons of Italy Club and the Brockway Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed cheering for the Las Vegas Raiders, cooking and hunting with his dad and his brothers. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his daughters. In addition to his parents his is also survived by 2 daughters: Emily Preston and Erica Preston both of Brockway and 2 brothers: Darrin Preston also of Brockway and Matthew (SoRa) Preston of Virginia. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Robert and Violet Preston and his maternal grandparents Clayton and Mary Barraclough. Calling hours will be on Thursday, April 20 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. Funeral Services will be private. Burial will follow in the Beechtree Cemetery in Brockway. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
