Dale E. Carr

Dale Edwin Carr age 83 of Frazeysburg Road Zanesville, Ohio; died on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Clay Gardens Place in Zanesville, Ohio. Born on August 17, 1937 in Brockport, PA; he was the son on the late Theodore R. and Nellie Wells Carr. On October 21, 1961 he was married to Jane Ann Repiscak and she survives. Dale attended Penn State University where he obtained an Associates Degree in Business. Retired, Dale had started out working at Brockway Glass, and worked there for 29 years. He then went to work for Sears selling appliances for another 21 years.  He was a member of the Moorhead United Methodist Church and the Coburn United Methodist Church in Zanesville. Dale was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ridgway. He was an avid bowler, hunter and a family man. In addition to his wife Jane he is also survived by a daughter Krysten (Matt) Smart of Zanesville; 3 brothers: Clifford (Ruth) Carr of Brockway; Blain (Shelley) Carr of DuBois and Tom (Jane) Carr also of Zanesville. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, January 20 from 3PM to 5PM at the Moorhead United Methodist Church in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 5PM with Evangelist Paul Morelli officiating. Social distancing protocols will be in place and masks are required. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery in DuBois.
