Cynthia "Cindy" Mowry

Cynthia “Cindy” Mowry age 62 of Horizon Drive Brockway, PA; died on Friday February 28, 2025 at Geisinger Danville. Born on August 4, 1962 in DuBois, PA; she was the daughter of the late John W. Cook and Betty J. Wilson Cook who survives and lives in Brockway. Cindy was married to Keith B. Mowry on February 13, 1981 and he survives. She was employed as CFO at J.M. DeLullo Stone Sales until her health required her to retire. Cindy was a member at the Presbyterian Church in Brockway. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, needle point and crafting. She also enjoyed an opportunity to go camping and singing, especially with the Village Voices. In addition to her mother and her husband she is also survived by a son Bryan (Brandi) Mowry of DuBois, PA; a brother Charles (Katherine) Cook of Palm Bay, FL; a grandson Jacob Mowry of Port Allegheny, PA; a granddaughter Cordelia Mowry also of DuBois and a great grandson Spencer Blake Thompson. In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by a son Jason Mowry, her maternal grandparents Link and Mildred Wilson and her paternal grandparents John and Irene Cook. Visitation will be on Thursday March 6 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 7 at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. Burial will follow in Beechwoods Cemetery.
