Charles C. Haser age 85 of Evergreen Street Brockway, PA died on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Born on February 11, 1938 in Johnsonburg, PA; he was the son of the late George and Mary (Schaut) Haser. Charles is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Lundberg-Kline) Haser who he was married to for 48 years and four children, Mark Kline (wife Patty Morrison); Jeanne Wagner (husband Doug Wagner); Paul Kline (wife Kimberly Moss); and Dwight Kline (wife Kathy Salter). He is also survived by his sister Jane Early and brother Jake Haser; along with 18 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great, Great Grandchild; and nieces & nephews. Charles “Chuck” Haser was preceded in death by his son Gary Kline and 2 Grandchildren.
Chuck was in the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania for 9 years. He was a life-time member of the National Historical Society of Brockway and the Morelli’s morning “coffee club”.
He was a salesman for multiple companies over the years and owned and operated a franchise of the Viking Sewing Centers and Whites Metal Detectors.
Chuck also had a passion for the culinary arts and enjoyed collecting postcards and traveling; attending automobile shows and Broadway shows. He also enjoyed hunting, metal detecting and skiing. Chuck also dabbled in photography. In his younger years, Chuck was a licensed pilot and a drag racing national champion.
Friends will be received starting at 10 AM on Friday, June 23 at the Lanes Mills United Methodist Church in Brockway. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM also at the church with Pastor Andrew Verner officiating. Full Military Honors will be accorded Friday morning at the Church by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion Funeral Detail. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway.
